Submission Guidelines
Essential information for preparing and submitting your manuscript to the GPSF Journal.
Please review these guidelines carefully prior to submission. Submissions that do not comply may be returned for correction before review.
1Manuscript Types and Word Limits
- Research Articles:4,000–6,000 words
- Policy Analyses:3,000–5,000 words
- Book Reviews:1,000–2,000 words
* Word limits include footnotes and references.
3Formatting Requirements
Manuscript Format
- • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- • Spacing: Double-spaced
- • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
- • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
Citations and Style
- • Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition)
- • Number tables/figures sequentially
- • Provide clear titles and captions
5Peer Review and Anonymity
The Journal applies a double-blind peer review process. To ensure anonymity:
- Remove all identifying information from the manuscript file
- Avoid self-identifying references in text and footnotes
- Provide author details only in a separate author information document
